Frequently Asked Questions Answers to common questions about the workshop. 1. Is the grade listed the grade my child is in or the one they are going into? You may use the grade they will be in this fall for your class selections. 2. What information is required for the health form? A vaccination record, with the dates, and any information that will help us in working with your child. 3. Where are the brochures available? They are in most public libraries, usually in the children's section, please call and check before you go. 4. How does the lottery work? All the mail received as of noon on Friday is opened and checked for completeness, numbered and placed in a large box. Applications are drawn randomly from the box and registered. The box is emptied before we begin the next lottery. If we are unable to register your children as requested we will notify you as soon as possible. 5. How do I cancel\change\add to my registration once it has been mailed? We will take no information over the phone you must send a written request to: PO Box 323, Voorheesville, 12186. If you are adding to your original application your new request will be placed in the lottery the week it is received. If you are changing or canceling your deposit is non refundable. 6. How can I receive a scholarship? Complete your registration as soon as possible and mail it to the PO Box. Include a note with your application that you are requesting a scholarship and your application will be processed in the lottery. You will need to submit a letter requesting a scholarship and the reasons for the request to the scholarship committee at: SCHOLARSHIP, PO Box 323, Voorheesville 12186. All requests are confidential and you will be notified of the committee's decision as soon as possible. 7. Can I volunteer in my child's class? The policy of the workshop is not to allow parents to be in the same class as their child. If you feel it is necessary for you to remain with your child, your child may not be ready for the workshop experience and we suggest that you wait until they are older. 8. Who do I contact to be a volunteer/CIT?
