H9	Canoeing	2	6 and up
Basic paddling strokes and safety will be taught at a nearby lake. Other topics to be covered include canoe and equipment selection, canoe camping, choosing places to go and rescue techniques. All aspects of this course are designed to make your canoeing trips safe and pleasant, and offer a great way to enjoy nature, whether you’re out for a single day or a weeklong excursion. Students will receive Heldeberg certification for this course. Students must demonstrate swimming ability at the first class.
