This course combines the worlds of science and art, utilizing the common need in both to make accurate, detailed observations. Look close! Look wide! Ancient cave paintings were made with the most primitive materials; you’ll learn how to create similar beautiful works! You’ll create accurate nature sketches and identify what you observe. And, you’ll be surprised at how much you can learn about Earth Science just by becoming better observers! Along the way, we’ll learn basic preservation procedures.
